GPT’s Rouse Hill Town Centre was conceived and created as a modern iteration of a thriving, welcoming village. The brief for the film was twofold: to explain the thinking behind the concept, from the perspective of the developers and to show, from the perspective of the community, how successfully the concept was realised.
The Walsh Bay Partnership’s Walsh Bay Precinct project was still on the drawing board when this film was commissioned. Using a combination of filmed imagery and 2D and 3D construction, set to a voice-over script written by Filmday, we were able to create an accurate imagining of the completed Walsh Bay precinct. The film did its job; the residential project was fully subscribed before construction began.
